ANIMALS & ALOE

Our animals cannot tell us when they are unhappy, but they will show many signs and as an owner, we know if our animals are uncomfortable. When Aloe is taken, please watch for signs that your animal is gaining benefits so that you can adjust the amounts to suit. 

Aloe Vera can be used on many different species, from fish and gerbils, to horses and cattle and many more.  The table below is a guideline for the most common forms of animal treatment.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed is how many owners describe it.

The drinking gels can be used on all species of animal and the two generally given are the Aloe Vera Gel and the Forever Freedom.  The table below gives a guideline of the dosage required for cats, dogs and horses, although they can be given to all number of different animal species.

Please introduce the Aloe to your animal slowly and build up to the required amount gradually over a week (unless you feel that your animal needs the full amount quickly – which is perfectly OK, though there may be some cases of an upset stomach for a couple of days - this is a natural cleansing process).

When you can see that your animal is experiencing benefits, you can decide to gradually reduce the amount given. Initially go to the Maintenance amount and then start to reduce to the Long Term. Should you see the signs and symptoms re-occurring, increase the amount until you find the level at which your animal is experiencing maximum relief. Human or animal, our bodies will all require different amounts, so you have to adjust the level of aloe to suit your particular case.
